Republic P-47D Thunderbolt Plastic Model Airplane Kit # 500 copyright 1965 - The Republic P-47D Thunderbolt was the largest single-engine fighter of its day. It was one of the main US Army Air Force fighters of WWII where it proved especially adept at ground attack. This kit features parts to build either razorback or bubble canopy versions as well as long range drop tanks a 1000 lb bomb and detailed engines propellers landing gear and pilot figure. Molded in black and silver all if not most parts are still connected to tree. Kit contains original instructions manual and decals. Made in the USA by Hawk Model Company Chicago IL. CB
