Shinden Experimental Canard Interceptor Plastic Model Airplane Kit #1189. Test flown just a few days before the end of WWII the Shinden was a remarkable design. Had it been made available earlier it could have provided an air defense capability that would have seriously affected the B-29s raiding Japan. When tested in the US after the war it proved to be the fastest propeller driven plane of WWII. Its Canard design and swept wings probably influenced some of the post-WWII designs. All if not most parts are still connected to tree. Kit includes original instructions manual and decals. Manufactured in USA under license from Hasegawa Model Co.
