Japanese Bomber Betty Mitsubishi G4M2 Plastic Model Airplane Kit # 576 copyright 1967. The Mitsubishi G4M was a land attack aircraft that had seen action in every theatre of operations in the Pacific during WWII. The Betty scored many successes during the early stages of the war but because armor protection was sacrificed to achieve its phenomenal range it was extremely vulnerable to air and ground fire. The final mission for two of these bombers was transporting the Japanese surrender delegation. This kit features optional landing gear pilot co-pilot and gunner figures and clear display stand. Molded in olive all if not most parts are still connected to tree. Kit contains original instructions manual and decals. Made in the USA by Lindberg Products Inc. Skokie IL. CB
